The Specific classes for town play key roles into the balancing of the neutral classes: Veteran (Investigated same as MM), Vigilante, Jailor, Witch (Neutral Evil), and/or Cult (Neutral Evil).

Due to the lack of the Mafia killing role, the Witch becomes very difficult to play. The Vigilante with unlimited bullets and the jailor with 2 executions balance this. The Vigilante can only kill Town, Witches, Jesters, and Survivors that don't vest. Because the Mass Murderers are Immune at night, this makes the Vigilante more of a threat to Town than an asset. Witches are able to use the Vigilante/Jailor to kill town.

The Town Category roles allow up to 4 Doctors and/or Sheriffs. In my experience almost every game has at least 1 doctor and 1 sheriff.
